The Moment to Remember Forever...
Your First Dance as Husband and Wife
"The bride and groom will now begin their lives together with their first dance."
All eyes are on you as you take your first steps together. The camera is recording, to give your family and friends (now and in the future), long lasting memories that can be recalled instantly.
Of all the wedding traditions, the first dance is the sweetest. Prepare for your first dance with the same care you give to your invitations, gowns, catering, flowers, and music. Let That Dancer’s Place choreograph a fun and easy routine to your “special song” and when that magical moment arrives, your friends and family will be amazed by your elegance, style, and grace. Our customized wedding dance program gives you the confidence and skill to perform a variety of dances, so you can dance the night away to all of the music mixed by your DJ or band.
Don't leave this most important part of your wedding to chance.
Prospective brides and grooms who want to create happy memories by giving a polished and graceful performance on their big day increasingly opt to take dance lessons. These lessons help prepare them for what could be the most memorable dance of their lifetimes.
Your romantic honeymoon will be complete as you dance in one another's arms under the moonlight or on a sandy beach. This is one wedding gift to each other you’ll continue to enjoy with each anniversary to come!
For a truly memorable occasion, we encourage you to include everyone in the fun: parents of the bride and groom, grandparents, the bridal party, other family members, and any of your wedding guests. We can customize special Group Sessions for your wedding party.
Here are a few tips from the experts on learning to dance in preparation for your wedding:
Plan Ahead: Remember that your schedule will get very hectic as your wedding day approaches. Start planning four to six months prior to you wedding date to allow more time for practice, especially if you are a beginner dancer.
Dance Lessons Are a Stress Reliever. Dancing is good exercise and a great way to relieve the stress of the day. Spend an hour or so taking a lesson or practicing with your beloved, having fun and learning at the same time.
Give Yourself Variety. Besides the Waltz and other Traditional dances, the hot and rhythmical Cha Cha, romantic Rumba, or upbeat Swing are all popular at Weddings today.
Bring Music. If you plan to dance to a special song at your reception, make sure that you bring a recording of it to your dance lesson so you can work on it with your Personal Dance Trainer.
