Ms. Ann Hoshal |
| I have always loved dancing. I am told that I was in ballet when I was a little girl, but I have very little recollection of that. I was in gymnastics for many years, when I lived in Annandale, Virginia; and the floor routines were one of my favorite events. After moving to Grand Rapids, Minnesota my fifth grade year, I stopped gymnastics, but kept my love of movement and moving to music. In High School, I went to all the dances and tried to copy the moves that were popular at the time, with quite a bit of success. After High School I moved to the Twin Cities where I started Ballroom Dance instructing with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Inver Grove Heights. I taught and competed, both professionally and with students, for several years there. While there I attained a Silver level in my dancing and competed in the Theatre Arts/Dancesport area. I have recently returned from a military deployment overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Minnesota Red Bull Brigade. Upon my return I chose to stay in the Brainerd area and have recently resumed my dancing and teaching with That Dancer's Place. I hope to see you here and to share my love of dancing. |
